Tim led consumer communications throughout a significant period of growth and expansion for Groupon, including the addition of new businesses and channels; promotion of quickly growing retail segments, including health and beauty, apparel, and electronics; a B2B and B2C Women In Business initiative; and pro-social campaigns while working with top celebrities to raise funds for non-profit organizations.

Led consumer communications to relaunch fast-fashion website acquisition, ideeli, after rebranding it as ideel.


Led the creation and execution of a pro-social campaign to raise funds for Brad Pitt’s Make It Right Foundation, which included a donation element, sweepstakes, and promotion. The initiative raised funds to build houses in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans (that was devastated by Hurricane Katrine), and drove a high rate of click-through and conversions on Groupon.


Also developed a Groupon Gift Expert initiative by identifying and media training spokespersons from around the company to book for broadcast interviews across the U.S.
