Land of the Mammoth was one of many initiatives that Tim worked on which included an expedition phase, discoveries, scientific study, and a documentary or documentary series.

Ice cave in Khatanga, Siberia, filled with 100 wholly mammoth tusks that were preserved for tens of thousands of years in the permafrost of the Taymyr Peninsula. This ice cave was also the location where scientists studied the remains of a partially intact wholly mammoth. Photo by Tim DeClaire.
